A sequel to Dragon Ball Super: Broly was officially announced on May 9, 2021. At 2021's San Diego Comic-Con, a short clip of Goku with the film's logo was shown, revealing its title as Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Character designs for Piccolo, Pan, Krillin, Gamma 1, and Gamma 2 were also shown, as well as the design of Piccolo's home.

So, in Japanese, does Goku speak in more of a broken english, "redneck" kind of way? I only really read the manga for Dragon Ball, I watched Super anime in dub and I'm currently watching the original anime in sub for the first time, and the subtitles don't really seem to capture that aspect of Goku.

Dragon Ball didn't get really violent until Dragon Ball Z, which is where we see a lot of blood, death, cursing, and dismemberment. Contains tons of animated martial arts violence, but is much tamer than its successor, "Dragon Ball Z". Lots of fantasy action violence, often involving martial arts and energy-based attacks.

Dragon Ball (드래곤볼, Deulaegon Bol) is an unofficial live-action Korean film adaptation of the manga and anime series Dragon Ball by manga-ka Akira Toriyama. It was released on December 12, 1990. Also titled 싸워라 손오공 이겨라 손오공, Ssawola Son Ogong Igyeola Son Ogong, which translates to "Fight Son Goku, Win Son Goku."

In the Dragon Ball franchise, there are two things that are hard for me to truly justify, and which I just simply have to accept: Son Goku being an alien, and the later introduction of God Ki. The latter isn't exactly relevant to Toriyama's original manga, but it does tie to the former in a manner indicative of what will be the biggest "problem

Battle of Gods revived the franchise not only with a great balance of the Z action and Toriyama's humour but the deeper look into the mythology of Dragonball's God's. Beerus and Whis are fantastic characters who have added a lot to the franchise IMO. Universe 6 vs Universe 7 was a nice ode back to the old Tenkaichi Budokai arcs.

Viz's translation work for the manga isn't perfect (they have some weird name-adaptation issues and "Viz-isms" scattered about), but overall it's still very good. Compared to the aforementioned dismal 3/10 rating for the Z anime's English dub, Viz's translation of the manga is like a solid 8/10 at best and doesn't often fall below that.

This also literally happens in the game Dragon Ball Fusions - the player character, who can be of any in-game race fuses with their saiyan rival in the finale, and that fusion becomes a Super Saiyan. In fact, even if the player character is a saiyan themself, their part of the fusion's hair doesn't even go gold, just the rival's hair.

More true in the manga then the anime. In the manga black goes regular ssj before rose which means rose is probably an equal upgrade to blue. In the anime since black never goes regular ssj people try to use that to say rose is only a 50x boost. Manzissimo1 • 1 yr. ago.
